The Current Low Sun Listening Playlist

There is a particular moment in the day when the light begins to change.

The sun is still present, but the day has started to loosen its grip. Colors shift. Familiar places feel slightly unfamiliar. Low Sun Listening begins here—with a soundtrack for the hour when the sun begins to fall.

The current playlist brings together dreamy, atmospheric, and left-field selections that move between ambient texture, electronic pop, dance music, and something a little harder to categorize.

The current sequence includes:

  • “Stasis” — Slöle
  • “Crossing Horizons” — Wataru Sato
  • “Magic (Apple Music Home Session)” — Kylie Minogue
  • “Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix)” — Madonna & Kylie Minogue
  • “Hold On To Now” — Kylie Minogue

Together, these songs create a small journey—from stillness and atmosphere toward movement, connection, and release.

This isn’t intended to be background music. The playlist is part of the ritual. Start listening about 10–15 minutes before your local sunset, then step outside and let the music accompany your changing surroundings. Walk if you want to walk. Sit by a window if you want to stay still. The important thing is to notice the transition.

Low Sun Listening is also designed to be shared across distance. Someone somewhere else can be listening to the same sequence from another horizon, at another sunset, on another day. The playlist provides continuity while the sky makes every experience different.

One playlist. Many horizons.

The Low Sun Listening playlist will continue to evolve as the installation develops. New songs may enter, old ones may move, and the soundtrack may gradually become a record of the ritual itself.

For now, press play when the sun gets low.

Listen at your local sunset.
