The Low Sun Listening booklet is your guide into a distributed listening ritual by Transennial. It invites you to step outside—or simply find a place to watch the changing light—about 10 to 15 minutes before sunset and begin the same playlist as someone somewhere else.

You don’t have to share the same place, or even the same moment. As sunset moves across the planet, each listener enters the work from their own horizon. The playlist creates continuity; the changing sky creates difference.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to begin: how to prepare, connect with a companion, start the listening, move through your surroundings, and leave a trace afterward if you wish.
